Attention will be paid to polished and mercury meniscus modified solid amalgam electrodes (SAE), to silver solid amalgam composite electrodes and to amalgam paste electrodes either in batch analysis or in flow liquid systems (especially HPLC or FIA with electrochemical detection). The review will concentrate on our own results in the context of the general development in the field.
