Annotation
Nonlinear elliptic and parabolic problems arise in many important applications in electromagnetics, chemistry, modeling of diffusion and heat transfer processes and other fields. We present a higher-order finite element (hp-FEM) solver PARSYS_2D for general nonlinear problems consisting of elliptic or parabolic partial differential equations (PDEs) on unstructured triangular meshes. Methodology of hierarchic finite elements is discussed and important theoretical and practical features of the solver described
