This article presents newly developed scheme for evolutionary Navier-Stokes-Fourier system with temperature dependent material parameters, which represents a mathematical model for flow of a fluid as influenced by heat exchange. High order spectral/hp element approximation is used in spatial coordinates. Performance of proposed approach is shown on problem of forced convection, non-stationary flow of air around a heated cylinder. Good coincidence in comparison with experimental data was observed while new finding in relation of separation angle and temperature on cylinder wall was achieved.
