The first workshop of this type with one day excursion to Maar Mýtina and Hartoušov mofette field was aimed at informing all employees of 'Bayerische Landesamt fur Umwelt - Geologische Abteilung' on the result of the Institute of Geophysics CAS in discovering and investigation unknown volcanic structures along Czech-German state border. Part of the workshop was a seminar with lectures on the subject with an invited talk of J. Mrlina.
