Exceptionally preserved fossils showing typical characters of the so-called Konservant –Lagerstätten occur in the Cambrian and Ordovician sediments of the Barrandian area. Fossils with well-preserved soft body parts were ascertained in several different levels of the Cambrian of the Příbram – Jince Basin and the Skryje – Týřovice Basin. Several horizons of the Barrandian Upper Ordovician show similarities to the Ediacara-type Lagerstätte.
