This article presents new protocol for high pressure freezing and freeze substitution of mammalian cells grown in suspension suitable for immuno-electron microscopy. It shows the suitability of LR White resin usage for ultrastructure and antigen preservation of cells that were not chemically fixed.

Článek popisuje nový protokol pro přípravu suspenzních savčích buněk pro imuno-elektronovou mikroskopii metodami vysokotlakého zamražování a mrazové substituce. Je zde dokumentováno, že pryskyřice LR White je vhodná pro zachování dobré ultrastruktury a epitopů pro imunoznačení u buněk, které nebyly chemicky fixovány.
