Studie zdůrazňuje význam chápání obrazů v rámci větších obrazových celků a jejich uspořádání spíše než individuálně. Dokonce i každému jednotlivému obrazu je třeba rozumět jako sérii či sbírce, jež je ze své podstaty nutně heterogenní.

The article stresses the importance of understanding images (especially photography) in terms of their series and arrangements rather than individually. Even every single image has to be understood as a series or a collection, which is in its nature necessarily heterogeneous.
