The comparative study of activities of H2O2-generating oxidases and antioxidant enzymes in the sterile and microbes present irradiated rabbit corneas. In corneas of rabbit eyes where Staphylococcus aureus was isolated, activities of H2O2-generating ooxidases (xanthine oxidase, D-amino acid oxidase) were highly increased in the corneal epithelium, endothelium and inflammatory cells present in corneal stroma.
