Capillary electrophoresis was used for the investigation of interactions of benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids chelerythrine and sanguinarine with molecules containing mercapto group, with the aim to identify not only the kind of interactions, but also the chemical form of the reacting alkaloids.
