The text summarizes the social and political processes having taken place in Czech society since 1989 to 1999 on the nase of ststistics and recent socialogical data and fromulates some probabilist predictions of furteher development until 2005 with the connection of the expected accession to the EU. It varifies and falsifies also the validity of the prognoses formulated in 1994.
