The OMC simulator developed at the Institute of Astronomy is designed to produce images with parameters close to valid OMC images from INTEGRAL spacecraft. The simulated images do not exhibit many features common in the ground-based CCD exposures, but contain critically undersampled stras and a great number of the cosmics, like from a real space instrument.
