Článek je věnován historii přijímacích zkoušek na pražské technice v letech 1864 - 1950.Jsou objasněny důvody, které vedly k zavedení přijímacích zkoušek, je popsána struktura zkoušky. V závěru jsou připojeny statistické tabulky úspěšnosti a neúspěšnosti studentů a ukázka přijímaí zkoušky.

The paper is devoted to the history of entrance examinations at the Prague Technical University in the period of 1864 - 1950. The reasons of the setting the entrance procedure are clared up and the process of the entrance examination is described. Statistic tables of the students successfulness and unsuccessfulness and the demonstration of examination examples are added to the text.
