Bearbeitung der Molluskenfunde aus der abgeschlossenen Grabungsetappe 1954-1992 in Mikulčice. Aspekte zoologische, ökologische und archäologische. Bearbeitung ergänzt die Rekonstruktion der Naturumwelt des Burgwalls und trägt zur Erkenntnis der Wirtschaftsverhältnisse des Burgwalls bei. Die Mollusken gelangten ins befestigte Areal als Bestandteil der menschlichen Nahrung, des Tierfutters oder ganz zufällig.

Elaboration of the mollusc fauna from the excavations of the middle age stronghold of Mikulčice in the years 1954-1992. Zoological and archaeological angle of view. It makes complete a picture of natural environment and contributes to the archaeological solving of economical problematic of the stronghold. Mollusc got in the area of the settlement apparently like a part of food of its inhabitants, like a fodder for animals and by chance.
