Cílem příspěvku bylo pokusit se naznačit řešitelnost otázky formativních procesů archeologického materiálu. Analýza artefaktuální výplně objektu 45 z Úhřetic dokládá, že keramika se do jámy dostávala v pravidelných intervalech, což odpovídá etnografickým sledováním míry keramické fragmentarizace u předindustriálních společností.

The primary aim of this contribution is to indicate possible answers to questions involving archaeological site formation processes. Analysis of artifacts found in the fill of feature 45 from Úhřetice, suggests that ceramics become deposited in pits in regular intervals, a finding which agree with ethnographic observations of ceramic fragmentation in pre-industrial societies.
