The antiferromagnetism at elevated temperatures, characteristics for Lu2Fe17, is also observed in (Lu1-xYx)2Fe17 compounds up to x=0.8 with a gradual decrease of the temperature range of its stability. The average Fe magnetic moment and the first anisotropy constant depend weakly of the Y content with a non-linearity probably originating from a non-statistical occupation of Lu sites by Y atoms

Byl pozorován antiferomagnetismus při zvýšených teplotách ve sloučeninách (Lu1-xYx)2Fe17 s x =0.8. Průměrný magnetický moment Fe a první anizotropní konstanta závisí na koncentraci Y pouze slabě. Příčinou jejich pozorované nelineární koncentrační závislosti je pravděpodobně nestatistické obsazování poloh Lu ionty Y
