The extreme lithological diversity of the unit, which is characterized by alternating
individual rock types in the order of cm to dm, and the presence of volcanic admixture in sediments, suggests that the deposition of organic protolite of graphite took place in a shallow water environment during synchronous volcanic activity. Abundant occurrence of Cl-scapolite in calc-silicate rocks and marbles indicate elevated salinity of the marine environment.Pracoviště Ústav struktury a mechaniky hornin Kontakt Iva Švihálková, svihalkova@irsm.cas.cz, Tel.: 266 009 216 Rok sběru 2023
