Two fractions from seventeen dumping soils and background samples were tested. The significant source of potential toxic elements as Cr, Co, Cd, and Hg was found. Their increased content contributes to a risk load for the inhabitants living in the observed area. The INAA and IPAA procedure has been verified by analysis of several standard reference materials.
