Anotace
The chapter portrayed graphically the beginnings of learned societies in the Czech lands in the early modern period (16th – 18th centuries). The chapter is significantly expanded compared to the Czech version. The new one is in particular an explanation for the Societas incognitorum (half of the 18th century).
