AnotaceThe text deals with the conditions for, limits of and approaches to emigration and integration from the perspective of the possibility to return back to the country of origin. It proceeds from the experience that the author has gained during the last quarter century in cooperation between academic sphere and state administration bodies, especially the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The paper focuses, among other things, on the possibilities of a practical dialogue between academic sphere(including universities), state administration and migrants. It is possible to suppose - based on the exemplified development of relations between the Czech Republic and the Czech diaspora (the Czechs living abroad) - that it will be possible to point out the reserves in the themes of bachelor and master theses on behalf of the feasibility to use the results of student pieces of research for state administration.
