AnotaceWire Electric discharge machining (WEDM) process plays a vital role in the machining of harder materials like metal matrix composites and steels. It helps in making the complicated and irregularcuts which are very difficult to cut by conventional machining. WEDM process provides a high accuracy and better surface quality which makes it more precious and popular technique. In this research, hybrid aluminium metal matrix composite A359/B4C/Al2O3 was fabricated through electromagnetic stir casting technique. Exactitude of the fabrication was done by Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) test. Samples were prepared to analyze machinability by using WEDM process. The machining parameters like peak current, pulse On-time, Pulse Off-time, percentage of reinforcement and wire feed depth were studied to develop second order mathematical model for surface roughness and material removal rate using Response surface methodology(RSM). Findings of mathematical model have been validated by experimental findings. This analysis indicates that the proposed mathematical model provides the performance indicator in terms of control factor. Desirability function test has been conducted to analyze the optimum results.
