The shrink fit realized by induction heating must transfer the prescribed torque and power. Both disk and shaft are considered elastic. The first step of the task is to find appropriate dimensions of the disk and interference. The second step is to suggest the parameters of its induction heating. The methodology is illustrated by a typical example.
