Časové změny vegetace byly studovány s využitím starších floristických prací. Překlad anotace The flora and its environmental determinants (i.e. spatial pattern, area, geomorphological features of sand- stone rocks and indicator values of vascular plants) in a sandstone area in northern Bohemia were studied. The study site has been acknowledged as a unique area from the conservation point of view (27% of the rock flora consists of Red List species), biogeographic status, history (the area was only temporarily settled) and geomorphological and geological diversity (sandstone pseudokarst). The basicity of the rocks was shown to be the most important factor in species distribution. Temporal changes were assessed based on comparison of a recent floristic survey with older bota nical works. It seems that many ruderal species appear in the current flora as a result of human pressure. Some conservation management to prevent increasing erosion of rocks is recommended and legislative pro- tection is urgently needed.
