We study processes accomplishing on different time scales: fast deposition (on scale order of 0.00001 s) during individual pulses, and relaxation of a system between pulses (on scale order of 0.1 s). We observe anomalous temperature dependence of the island density in a certain temperature interval. It is due to the interplay between a cluster decay time and an interval between pulses. The cluster decay time depends on the temperature but also on clusters size and shape. The anomalous behavior is caused by the temperature limited stability of closed—compact clusters. It was revealed first for the simplified model with only nearest—neighbor interaction, and it is elucidated further for interaction up to the second and third neighbors. We analyze role of the closed—compact surface island on kinetics of growth. Pracoviště Fyzikální ústav Kontakt Kristina Potocká, potocka@fzu.cz, Tel.: 220 318 579 Rok sběru 2012
