It presents a collection of theoretical observations combined with practical instructions for growers of SRC plantations on contaminated soil in the Czech Republic as well as in abroad. It provides readers with detailed considerations of all stages of establishing a SRC plantation, from selecting a suitable site and planting material and all matters involved in starting a plantation to harvesting and processing produced biomass. Individual chapters always pay close attention to the specifics of contaminated areas. Concise practical instructions, laminated and intended for use in the field, are included in the manual together with an instructional movie. The manual was created within the project "Energy plantations technology on contaminated land" supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian financial mechanism (CZ0092).
