Hydrogenation is found to suppress totally the antiferromagnetic order of (Lu0.8Ce0.2)2Fe17 by favoring domination of the ferromagnetic interactions which increases the magnetic ordering temperature from 247 to 300 K. The application of pressure decreases the Curie temperature and induces the non-collinearity of the magnetic moments in (Lu0.8Ce0.2)2Fe17H0.4.
