Tento časopis patří k tzv. Heimatblätter, které byly publikovány odsunutými Němci v NSR. Autorka se nejdříve věnuje charakteristickým znakům tohoto typu tisku a analyzuje možnosti využití informací v nich obsažených pro své výzkumné otázky. Dále se zabývá obrazy spojenými s městským prostorem, historií Brna a charakteristickými vlastnostmi jeho obyvatel a jejich života. Snaží se poukázat na ustálené obrazy (stereotypy) Brna v kontextu česko-německých vztahů a v kontextu politického diskursu po 2. světové válce. Překlad anotace The study analyses pictures of the city of Brno published in the magazine Brünner Heimatbote between the years 1948 and 1950. This magazine belongs to the Heimatblätter, published by the expelled Germans now living in West Germany. First of all, the author deals with specific features of this type of press and analyses the possibilities of using information present in this magazine for her research questions. Then she deals with images connected with urban space, the history of Brno and with the characteristic features of the life of its inhabitants. She tries to show the common pictures (stereotypes) of Brno in the context of Czech-German relations and in the framework of the political discourse after WW II.
