Different initial and boundary conditions are discussed. General conditions are established, under which the fluid stabilizes to an equilibrium state. Motivation for this study is that apriori recognition of stabilization of the fluid is important in many situations arising in industrial applications. This contribution may serve as a partial survey of some results in this respect.
