Anotace
Die Studie stellt den Brief der Opersängerin Emma Destinn an den österreichischen Kritiker Hermann Bahr vom 1910 dar und interpretiert seinen kulturell-historischen Hindergrund. Obwohl Bahr Destinns´ tschechischen Patriotismus verteidigte, die Rezeption von ihrer Kunst war eher negativ. Die Beziehung Destinns´ zu Bahr zeigt auch ihre Entscheidung, seinen Roman "Theater" zu übersetzen, die aber nicht realisiert wurde.
Překlad anotace
Study presents a letter of the opera singer Emma Destinn(ová) to the Austrian critic Hermann Bahr from 1910 and interprets its cultural and historical background. It reminds of Bahr's defence of Destinn's Czech patriotism as well as Bahr's rather negative reception of her artistic performance. The relation of Destinn to Bahr shows her unrealized interest in translation of Bahr's novel "Theater".
