This difference is discussed by considering the radiative cooling of expanding plsmas, the influence of target irradiation intensity profile, and different expansion regimes of the Cu and plastic plasmas. The results of experiments and theoretical analyses show that the relative role of those three factors depends on the target irradiation geometry as well as on the target material used.
