Anotace	Using the constant current chronopotentiometric stripping analysis (CPSA) and hanging mercury drop or solid amalgam electrodes a well-developed peak (peak H) is produced by practivally all proteins at nanomolar concentrations. Our recent results showed that bare and chemically modified electrodes are particularly useful for recognition of changes in protein structures induced by denaturing, reducing and oxidizing agents as well as by single amino acid exchange in proteins important in cancer. Aggregation of amyloidogenic proteins can also be traced.
