Anotace
The paper deals with the lubrication of the human ankle joint in running. The mathematical model indicates that during running, similarly to walking, the joint operates in a mixed lubrication mode (a combination of the boundary and fluid film lubrication), but as compared to walking, with a major emphasis on the fluid film mode.
