Contents of Li, Be, B, Al, Ge, P, K, Na, Ca, Ti, Mn, and Fe were determined in situ using LA-ICP-MS. Al reached the highest contents in all samples (100-1200 ppm), followed by Ti, Li, and K (in the range of 10-100 ppm). The contents of B, Be, Ge, Fe, Mn, and P in quartz are usually lower than 10 ppm. The Ti versus Al diagram is the most fitting indicator of the evolution of the melt from which the quartz crystallised.
