Der Verfasser will zeigen (1) die Parallele zwischen Diotimas Auffassung von Eros und dem Heideggerschen Begriff der Sorge als Grundstruktur des menschlichen Daseins. (2) Er sieht Differenz zwischen der Idee der Schönheit und der des Guten und (3) zeigt, dass der Gipfel der Einweihung, zu der Diotima Sokrates führt, nicht ein schlichtes Begaffen der Idee des Schönen ist, sondern das Verständnis, dass die eigentliche areté die Fähigkeit ist, in immer neuen Situationen immer neu zu finden, was Gutes man für die Verwaltung der gemeinsamen Sachen tun könnte, und zwar im Privaten wie auch im Öffentlichen. Diese höchste Weise des "Schöpfens im Schönen" ist dann als die eigentliche Bedeutung von Platons Begriff der menschlichen Unsterblichkeit interpretiert. Překlad anotace The paper analyses the Diotima part of Plato's dialogue Symposium. The author wants to show (1) a parallel between Diotima's concept of Eros and the Heideggerian concept of Sorge as a basic ontological structure of human being (Dasein). Then he traces (2) the problem of the difference between the Beautiful and the Good and he suggests (3) that the top goal of Diotima's initiation is not staring at the idea of Beauty, but the activity of diakosmesis, the activity of looking for and making good both in public and private. This highest way of "procreation in beauty" is then understood as the proper Platonic concept of human "mortal" immortality.
