Anotace
In this study three different plant species were cultivated in contaminated soil with PCBs. After 6 months the decrease of PCB content in soil, PCBs accumulation into plants and the changes in participation of rhizospheric microorganisms in vegetated and non-vegetated soil were analysed. From polluted soil also bacteria which potentially participate in biodegradation of PCBs were isolated. They were tested for the presence of known genes of biphenyl operon. These tests were based on PCR amplification of bphA1 and bphC genes. The degradative capabilities were confirmed in presence of biphenyl as cosubstrate under the laboratory conditions. Strains, showing the best growth and degradative properties were taxonomically identified by determination of nucleotide sequence of 16S ribosomal DNA.
