Anotace	One derives a model for an oscillating electric circuit with a ferromagnetic inductance. It consists of a second order equation with a Preisach hysteresis operator. The paper given a summary of mathematical results on the relationship between the asymptotic behavior of solutions and the hysteresis dissipation.
