Anotace
The study essays to sketch development of the political relations between the Ottoman and the Habsburg Empires in the first half of the 17th century. It questions traditional interpretation of mutual relations in that time as being influenced by general crisis of the Ottoman Empire and turns attention to the fact that it was it were not always the Ottomans who broke the peace.
