Anotace	Understanding the specific mechanisms modulating cell cycle effect is necessary for defining the mode of action of LA-12. Therefore, the present study aimed to characterize the effect of LA-12, as compared to cisplatin, on cell cycle modulation and the changes in protein expression levels of cell cycle regulatory proteins (cyclin A, cyclin B1, cdk-2), p53 target genes controlling cell cycle (p21waf1/cip1, Gadd45alpha), apoptosis (Bax), DNA repair (Gadd45alpha), and regulation of p53 stability (Mdm-2) in A2780 (parent, cisplatin sensitive) and A2780cis (cisplatin resistant) ovarian carcinoma cell lines.
