In the framework of biostratigraphic research into deposits near the Jurassic/Cretaceous boundary, we have been concerned with the study and taxonomy of ammonites from the Štramberk Limestone coming from the Kotouč Quarry at Štramberk fro more than 5 years. A portion of them are our own, exactly localized and partly less perfectly localized findings. Together with them, we have gradually been trying to determine and revise older findings of ammonites from the Kotouč Quarry deposited especially in Moravian museums.
