We described processes forming sex chromosomes in plants, especially degeneration of genes and accumulation of repetitive DNA on the Y chromosome. We presented a new model of distribution of main repetitive DNA sequences of sex chromosomes in Silene latifolia.
Popsali jsme procesy formující pohlavní chromosomy rostlin, zejména degeneraci genů a akumulaci repetitivní DNA na chromosomu Y. Vytvořili jsme nový model prezentující distribuci hlavních repeticí na pohlavních chromosomech Silene latifolia.
