Anotace	The research seminar is a loose continuation of the meetings on the sociology and philosophy of science that have been held at FLU over the last three years. However, while these meetings were mainly devoted to physics, the focus of this new edition of the seminar will be on mathematics. Indeed, it is useful to recall that the original, David Bloor's ‘strong program’ of the sociology of science, on which the whole later tradition of the discipline would be based, was empirically grounded precisely in mathematics. In the following decades, however, mathematics didn’t manage to maintain its position as a strategic research site. Why? By studying representative texts in the sociology of mathematics, we will attempt to formulate first hypotheses with the help of which this disciplinary dynamic could be explained.
