Comparing the time series at the three sites, it is possible to find periods during which similar pattern on the aerosol particle mass and chemical composition can be reported indicating that the stations areconnected to the same air masses. Meteorological conditions over the sampling area, as well as back air mass trajectories (96 hrs, 500 m above ground altitude) based on the NOAA-HYSPLIT model were also used to identify the potential connection between the sites and the geographical origin of the source emissions.
