Článek se zaměřuje na české a moravské studenty medicíny na univerzitě v Basileji. Mapuje jejich geografický a sociální původ, příslušnost k náboženskému vyznání, samotná studia či kariéru po jejich ukončení. Samostatně je věnována pozornost jejich literární činnosti, která byla převážně akademická, ale týkala se i méně formální literární tvorby.

The article focuses on Czech and Moravian students of medicine at University of Basel. It maps their geographic and social origin, their adherence to religious denominations, the curricula they followed, as well as their careers after a completion of their studies. Separately, attention is paid to their literary activities, which was mostly academic, but also related less formal literary creations.
