Anotace
The study analyzes cooperative policies of Comintern and of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (CPC) in 1918–1938. It focuses on key problems (communist factions in cooperatives and their tasks) and on the effects of communist strategy on inter-war cooperatives. Using the case study method, it further analyses the case of the cooperative Včela (“The Bee“) Prague, which was dealt with up to the Comintern level. The basic questions asked by the study are: 1. When and by what procedure was the communist cooperative group in Czechoslovakia established? 2. How big was the role played by the communist group of cooperatives in the Czechoslovak cooperative industry and how important was the Včela cooperative to CPC? 3. How did the Communist Party control these cooperatives (and the Včela cooperative as a case study)?
