The workshop followed up with the long term tradition of theoretical chemistry seminars organized at the university of Girona and gathered together the group of leading theoretical chemists working in the field of chemical bond theory. The participants presented the contributions dealing with the design and the application of new methodologies to the description of the chemical bonding.
