Anotace
Prague Cäcilien-Verein and its Czech contemporaries (Žofínská akademie, Hlahol) played an important role in Bohemian music life; all of them performed Czech and German works, and also appeared together. The process of sepration between the Czech and German cultures did not begin until the late 1860s.
