AnnotationThe 16 years long time series of monthly frequencies of cerebral infarctions observed in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, was cross-correlated to time series of solar and geomagnetic activity. A negative correlation was found for time shifts up to almost one year. It is concluded that these factors do not support the occurrence of the mentioned disease. Instead, an opposite relation appears to be true.
