The mechanisms producing stroke volume, heart rate adn edequate mean pressure in the CVS enable corresponding perfusion through the systemic organs according to the load. Thus the cardiovascular resistances, representing the pulmonary and systemic resonances situated in series with the right and left cardiac ventricles, represent among others, the dependent variables ensuring the body tissue oxygen demands at changing load levels. The main problem is situated into the systemic circuit because the semic resistance value is approximately six-times higher than pulmonary one.
