Anotace
New occurrence of amethyst and jasper have been verified in central Krušné Hory Mts. The best parts of veins with agate and jasper for decorative purposes occur in the vicinity of Tertiary basalts. A major influence on the quality of the filling of veins is the presence of iron-rich rocks (mainly skarns).
