The free atom decay rate is greatly enhanced at higher analyte concentrations, which is a source of calibration curvature. The presence of zones where once reacted atoms are reatomized at the tube ends was directly proven: the sensitivity is improved and calibration bending is attenuated. Recommendations concerning the quartz tube design and dimensions are given. Pracoviště Ústav analytické chemie Kontakt Iveta Drobníková, drobnikova@iach.cz, Tel.: 532 290 234 Rok sběru 2001
