Applications of supercritical fluid chromatography to measure thermophysical properties of solutes in the limit of infinite dilution are discussed. The applications are divided in two broad groups, namely, those requiring and those not requiring the knowledge of the exact amount of stationary polymer in the column. Emphasis is placed on the latter group of the applications that yield the derivatives of the Gibbs energy of transfer with respect to pressure, temperature, or mobile-phase composition.
